Billy H. "Hoppy" Cassady

Billy H. "Hoppy" Cassady, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 3, 2018 at his home in Inez, Kentucky following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Maynard Cassady. Also surviving are four children: Billy Cassady, Jr. of East Point, KY, Melinda James of Booneville, MS, Mary Craig of Westerville, OH, and Stefanie McMillan of Inez, KY, one brother, Glen Ray Parsley of Columbus, OH, 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Hoppy was a used car dealer for 35 years and an avid golfer until his health and eyesight began to decline. He gave his life to the Lord in 2000 and his greatest pleasure was attending church. He loved his church families of Hagerhill Freewill Baptist and Freedom Freewill Baptist. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 beginning at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY with Bro. Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will follow in the James Cemetery, Inez, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
