Buddy Howell

Buddy Howell, age 73, of Columbus, OH passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at Ohio State University Wexler Medical Center. He was born September 27, 1945 to the late Tan and Ora Reed Howell in Martin County, KY. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Crutchen Howell, three brothers: Robert Howell, Carmel Howell, and Arnold Howell, and two sisters: Mae Jude and Marie Staton. He is survived by two daughters: Lisa Howell Sargent of Columbus, OH and Rebekka Cline of White Hall, OH, one step-daughter, Margie (Robert) Marcum of Columbus, OH, and one step-son, Kevin (Trena) Jarvis, two brothers: Dennis Howell of Columbus, OH and Dennie Howell of Wolf Creek, KY, and one sister, Dorothy Wilson of Louisa, KY. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Chris Howell, Melissa Duross, Isabella Marcum, John Marcum, Elizabeth Marcum and Leanna Sheppard, and 5 great grandchildren: Destinee Osborn, Christy Forbes, Kenneth Forbes, Jr., Bentley Forbes and Lilly Anna Sheppard. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Terry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Howell Cemetery, Pigeon Roost, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday and Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home, Inez, KY.
