Delois Jean (Pack) Ward

Delois Jean Ward, 77 years old, of Inez, KY, answered God’s call to come home on January 1st, 2020. She was a mother first and foremost and a sibling to The Pack family. She was an avid softball player in her younger years but her biggest attributes were her heart she wore on her sleeve for others and her ability to listen and take note of others. She served as the director of the Martin County Health Department in which she was very proud to be associated with.

She was born January 8, 1942 to the late Willie and Martha Pack. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Ward of Inez and her brothers, John, Acie, Moses and Jerry Pack. She is survived by her children, Kevin and Stephen, her grandchildren, Hunter, Sawyer, Jeanna and Christian, her brothers and sisters Carol Mills (Ronnie), Sue Coleman (Jerry), Beatrice Maynard (Ronnie), Harold Pack (Mary), Bill Pack (Wanda), Odell Pack (Sandy), Roger Pack (Carol). 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with John Goble officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Garden of Louisa, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
