Edith Meade

Edith Meade, age 81, of Warfield, KY passed away June 7, 2019 at her residence. She was born June 30, 1937 in Martin County, KY, to the late Conard Davis and Virginia Parsley Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Grover Meade, one son, Bruce Meade, one son-in-law, Clinton Copley, two brothers, Jackie Davis and Albert “Honeyboy” Davis, one sister, Connie Davis, and one grandson, William Bradley Meade. She is survived by three sons, Carl Edward Davis of Ohio, David Davis of Inez, KY, and Todd (Rita) Meade of Inez, KY, two daughters, Susie Skyles of Beauty, KY and Melissa Copley of Warfield, KY, three brothers, Sylvester Davis of Texas, Roy Davis of Warfield, KY, and Darrell Davis of Pilgrim, KY, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 1 PM at the Buck Branch Church with Terry Harmon and Buddy Stacy officiating. Burial will follow at the Davis Family Cemetery, Pilgrim, KY. Friends may visit the church on Monday and Tuesday beginning at 6 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
