Gertrude (Workman) Harless

Gertrude Harless, age 79, of Tomahawk, KY passed away July 13, 2019 at her residence. She was born December 29, 1939 in Martin Co., KY to the late Harvey Workman and Josphene McCoy Workman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Gladys Pearl Harless Fletcher and Sandy Hammond, two brothers, Russell Workman and Sid workman, two sisters, Linnie Davis and Laurie White and several other siblings. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Harless, her son, Homer Harless and his wife, Becky, who was more like a daughter, of Tomahawk, KY, three daughters, Patsy (Tom) Spears of Beauty, KY, Hester (Frankie Spence) Harless of Inez, KY, and Jessica Harless, and two son in laws, Elbert Fletcher and David Hammond, who was more like a son. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 12 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Danny Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Home Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday and Monday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
