James L Howard

James L. Howard, age 77, of Inez, KY, passed away June 7, 2019 at his residence. He was born February 19, 1942 in Inez, KY to the late Lark Lowell Howard and Hessie Preston Howard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his spouse, Arlina Howard, and three sisters: Geneva Howard Johnson, Elizabeth Howard Arbaugh, and Ruth Howard Short. He is survived by his daughters: Mary Howard (John) Harter of Newark, OH, Angie Kay (Michael) Stoltz of Edenton, NC, and Jamia Malena (Tony Preece) Howard of Inez, KY, one brother, Joe (Debbie) Howard of Louisa, KY, and one sister, Virginia Britta Williams of Neward, OH. He is also survived by five grandchildren: John and Tyler Harter, both of Newark, OH, Caroline Stoltz of Edenton, NC, James David Johnson (J.D.) and Maddox Joel Johnson, both of Inez, KY, three great grandchildren and two very special caretakers, Jeff and Mary Maynard. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 2 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Doc Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Howard Family Cemetery,  Inez, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 PM to 10 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
