Jerry Marcum

Jerry Marcum, age 63, of Culloden, WV passed away April 22, 2019 at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV. He was born May 25, 1955 to Sterling and Lovella Mosley Marcum in Columbus, OH. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Teresia Osborne Marcum, one son, Jerry Timothy (Nellie) Marcum of Louisa, KY, three daughters: Kimberly (Barry Debord) Marcum and Melissa Marcum, both of Georgetown, KY, and Misty (Jeremy) Barr of Culloden, WV, three brothers: David (Margie) Marcum and Timmy Marcum, both of Inez, KY and Jeff Marcum of Louisa, KY, and one sister,  Barbara Marcum of Inez, KY. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Jacob Marcum and Sarah Marcum of Louisa, KY and Colton Barr and Carly Barr of Culloden, WV. Jerry was an avid fisherman and was given the name of "Bassman" many years ago by friends and coworkers. He loved UK basketball, golf and was a well-known Martin County softball player for many years. He was a member of the Baptist faith and attended the One Life Church in Culloden. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 1 PM at the New Friendship Church of Inez, KY with Michael Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens, Louisa, KY. Friends may visit at the church on Tuesday after 3 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
