Judy Ann James Masica, age 74, of Tomahawk, KY passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Three Rivers Medical Center, Louisa, KY. She was born July 7, 1944 to the late Amon and Edna Johnson James in Martin County, KY. At the age of 16, she became a member of Pack Bottom Zion United Baptist Church where she remained faithful throughout her life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy James and sister, Josephine Missler. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard P. Masica, her son, Richard P. Masica II of Arlington, TX, two daugthers; E. Berniece James-Hauser (Eric) of Maplewood, MN and Nicole Masica Montgomery (Matt) of Lexington, KY, two brothers; Jackie James of Tomahawk, KY, Danny Joe James (Mary Jo) of Louisa, KY, and two sisters; Mary Hutchins of MS and Carolyn Cook (Robert) of Louisa, KY. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great children, a host of nieces and nephews and many brothers and sisters in Christ at the church she loved so dearly. Judy enjoyed her family and always loved to garden. She will always be remembered and thought of adoringly because of her willingness to give and her endless selflessness. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Pack Bottom Zion United Baptist Church, North Milo, KY with Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd-Justice Cemetery, Nats Creek, KY. Friends may visit at the church on Tuesday and Wednesday after 5 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
