Neva Sue (Ward) Horn

Neva Sue Horn, age 72, of Inez, KY, passed away January 1, 2020 at Martin County Nursing Facility. She was born October 28, 1947 to the late Melvin Ward, Jr. and Lesta Mills Ward. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Nebert Lee Horn, one son, Emery Lynn Horn, three sisters; Darlene Collins, Pamela Workman, and Drema Ward, and one granddaughter, Emily Sue Horn. She is survived by two sons, Nebert Lee Horn, Jr. of Corbin, KY and Dennis (Andrea) Horn of Lowmansville, KY, one daughter, Marlena Horn (Victor) Slone of Lovely, KY, three brothers; Homer Lynn Ward, Bob Ward, and Walt Ward, all of Tomahawk, KY, one sister, Carol Wells of Inez, KY, a very special aunt, Evelyn Crum of Inez, KY, and a daughter-in-law, Wilma Rice. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; Jarrod Slone, Cody Slone, Brittany Horn, Josh Horn, Holly Hinkle, Zack Horn, Austin Horn, Michael Horn, Lauren Horn, Kennedy Horn, Noah Grant Horn, and Carley Horn, and three great grandchildren; Kyleigh Hinkle, Sophie Hinkle and Noah Horn. Sue will be sadly missed by all those that knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Garrett Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Horn Cemetery of Inez, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
