Ray D Marcum

Ray Marcum, 89, of Lovely, KY, passed away on September 14, 2018 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Ray was born to the late Marion and Lushie Marcum on June 1, 1929. He was a retired coal miner of 41 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Della (Webb) Marcum, son Ronald Webb, daughter Lisa Williams, 5 brothers and 1 sister. 

Those left to remember him are two sisters Billie Jean and Eula Fields and his children Linda Marcum, Betty (Roy) Reedy, Tommy (Nancy) Marcum, Tola (John) Hutchison, James (Maggie) Marcum, Donald (Gwen) Marcum, Mary Lou (CB) Foley, Pat (Charles) Combs, and James Dale Marcum. He was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, as well as many cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Crum Funeral Home in Inez, KY from 2 PM to 9 PM. 2 PM - 3 PM will be for family and friends are welcome beginning at 3 PM. The funeral service is Monday, September 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Buck Branch in Lovely, KY. The family would like to thank his caregivers at Martin County Healthcare Facility and Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. A very special thank you to Lisa Stewart Wells - you will never know how grateful we are for you.
