Richard Lynn Davis

Richard L. Davis, age 69, of Tomahawk, KY passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 15, 1949 to the late Abram Davis, Jr. and Nellie (Mills) Davis Fannin in Paintsville, KY. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Iva Dean Davis and one brother, Bobby Joe Davis. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children: Christi Davis (Eric) Eller of Tomahawk, KY, Richard A. "Tony" (Michelle) Davis of Sidney, OH, and Cosby Leann (Michael) Crozier of Newark, OH, six sisters: Kathleen "Penny" Todd, Mary Davis Poe, Ethel Adams, Clydetta Burchett, Tammy Kirk, and Kim Davis Haney, his grandchildren: Brittany Sprague, Jimmy Davis, Alexandria Eller, Nathan Begley, Wesley Begley, Emma Begley, Michael Crozier, Nicole Crozier, Dylan Crozier, Elleanna Davis, Bradley Childers, and Justin Eller and 2 great grandchildren: Caliya and Oaklynn Sprague. He is also survived by his first cousin, Terry Mills, who was like a brother to him and a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with John Preece officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery, Tomahawk, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 PM to 9 PM and Thursday from 4 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
