Roy Dean Maynard

Roy Dean Maynard, age 61, of Inez, KY, passed away February 17, 2019 at Highlands Regional Medical Center. He was born April 12, 1957 to the late Roy and Pauline Maynard in Lawrence Co., KY. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Copley, her husband, Charlie Copley, his father in law, Carl Mills and one infant brother. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lillie Maynard, children, Larry (Traci) Horn and Jason (Christina) Mills, one brother, Henry Maynard of Inez, KY, three sisters: Ollie Varney, Tena Jarrell of Florida, and Sue Carter of Ohio. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Emily Horn, Kelsey Horn, Kyleigh Horn, Brantley Horn, Alexandria Mills, Jonathon Grace, Shanna Newsome, DeAndra Newsome, Jayson Childress, Ashlyn Marcum, and Mason Marcum, one great grandchild, Jace Newsome, his daughter by heart, Jeanette McGinnis, his mother in law, Helen Mills, and a special sister in law, Eva Spence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Dr. Garrett Mills presiding. Burial will follow in the Carl Mills Cemetery, Inez, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday after 5 PM and all day Tuesday. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
