Winford Williamson, age 79, of Milo, KY fell asleep in death on September 23, 2018 at the Hospice Center in Ashland, KY. Winford was born March 4, 1939, the oldest son of Wallace (Shotgun) Williamson and Shirley Rae (Fraley) Williamson. He married his beloved wife Judy Elizabeth Mills on April 9, 1964 and they had 5 children: Gloria (Randy) Workman of Whitehouse, KY, Wendy (Ronnie) Haney of South Boston, VA, Tammy (Billy) Muncy of Milo, KY, April (Les) Copley of Lenore, WV and the late Ford Williamson of Milo, KY. He has five living siblings: Tennessee (Jean) Mason of West Jefferson, OH, Margaret (Tim) Coleman of Milo, KY, Benny Joe Williamson of Paintsville, KY, Patrick (Nora) Williamson of Inez, KY, and Lewis (Linda) WIlliamson of Nats Creek, KY. He has 4 deceased siblings: Oretha O'neil, Audrey Mcquirt, Junior Williamson, and Minnie Stonerock. He also had 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was a devout Jehovah's Witness for 54 years and attended the Louisa Kingdom Hall. Winford was a rock truck driver for the mines before retiring and also attended the Mayo College for Carpentry. He was also an avid bird watcher and nature lover. His memorial services will be held at the Louisa Kingdom Hall on October 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.
