Allen Moore

Allen Moore, age 67, of Tomahawk, KY, passed away March 27, 2024 at Highland Appalachian Regional Hospital in Prestonsburg, KY. He was born March 28, 1956 in Martin County, KY to the late Buster Fatty and Tilda Preece Moore. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Johnson Moore, two brothers, Chester Moore and Lenzie Moore, and one sister, Louise Johnson. He is survived by three sons, Jeremy (Marranda Mills) Moore of Tomahawk, KY, and KJ Litton and Remington Litton, both of McDowell, KY, one daughter, Megan (Mason) Jude of Tomahawk, KY, Kevin Litton, who was like a son to him, one brother, Oscar (Ellen) Moore of Tomahawk, KY, two sisters, Phyllis (Leroy, Jr.) Mills of Beauty, KY, and Myrtle (Calvin) Maynard of Inez, KY and his brother-in-law, James Johnson. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Ryan Moore, Shawn More, Kaitlynn Moore and Braxten Jude. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Richard "Doc" Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at the Johnson Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
