Alvis Ray Setser, age 65, formerly of Inez, Kentucky, went to his heavenly home on April 26, 2026, while surrounded by his loving family. Alvis was born on July 10, 1960, in Tomahawk, Kentucky, to the late Buford and Betty Fraley Setser. He is survived by his sisters, Sue Wyatt Kapper of Alabama and Gladys Christian of West Virginia. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews as well as many extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters Sharon Jude, Retha Kay Whitt, Brenda Spence, Carol Spence, and Janet Blankenship; and brothers Blaine Setser, Gary Setser and Johnny Setser.
A special thanks to Libby & Jason Vickers, Robin & Sheretta Spence and Deloris & Ronnie Cisco for going above and beyond to help Alvis in his last days.
Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday, April 29th from 6 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
