Amogene C (Castle) Testerman

Amogene C. Testerman, age 93, of Prestonsburg, KY, passed away July 16, 2023. She was born July 28, 1929 in Tomahawk, KY to the late Garfield and Ethel Smith Castle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Testerman, and one sister, Estalene Maynard. She is survived by brother-in-law, Raymond (Trudy) Testerman, one sister-in-law, Delcie Fitch and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Timmy Sheppard, Kim Prater, Kenny Mullins, Tim & Connie Sheppard, and her caregivers, known as Jean’s Girls: Millie Reagan, Bonnie Thacker, Patty Webb, Bonnie Davis, Rhonella Chafins, Beverly Sartin, Sheila Coleman, Allison Cantrell and Barbara Zeller. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with words of comfort by Tommy Sammons. Burial will follow at the Sammons Cemetery on Big Elk Creek. Friends may visit at the funeral home beginning a 12 PM on Saturday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to: St Jude’s Children Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis,TN 38105. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
