Amy Lynn (Brown) Catron

Amy Lynn (Brown) Catron, age 51, of Inez, KY, went to be with Jesus on January 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Amy was born on August 28, 1973, to Ronald Brown and Nadine (Mougey) Powell in Ironton, OH. Amy lived a life filled with beautiful faith, bringing immense joy to those around her, and unwavering love and service to others. She was a devoted member of the Turkey Creek Church of the Nazarene and helped lead the praise band every Sunday. She is survived by her loving husband, Derek Adam Catron of Inez, KY, one daughter, Emelia Catron of Inez, KY, one son, Benjamin Catron of Inez, KY, her mother, Nadine (Mougey) Powell, of Inez, KY, her father, Ronald Brown of Charleston, WV, four sisters, Rhonda (Dan) Allison of St. Louis, MO, Shelli (RD) Saunders of Buford, GA, Kim Rice of San Antonio, TX, and Beth (Bret) Layton of Charleston, WV, one brother, Nathan Brown of Ellenton, FL, and many nieces and nephews that she adored. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 1 PM at the Turkey Creek Church of the Nazarene with RD Saunders and Bret Layton officiating. She will be laid to rest on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 2 PM in the Harrison Township Cemetery in South Bloomfield, OH. Pallbearers will be Chase Rice, Connor Rice, Drew Rice, Jacob Allison, Landon Saunders, Logan Saunders, and Nathan Brown. Friends may visit Crum Funeral Home from 6 PM to 9 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025, and at the church on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
