Aneita Haney Obituary

Aneita Haney, age 75, of Tomahawk, KY, passed away March 29, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 19, 1945 to the late Mont Hammonds and Mabel Copley Hammonds in Crum, WV. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers: Clyde Hammonds, Ronnie Hammonds, and Jack Hammonds, and one sister, Minnie Sue Bailey. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond Haney, two sons, Michael Dean (Bernadette) Haney of Paintsville, KY and Craig Keagan (Amy) Haney of Tomahawk, KY, one daughter, Janine Rae Raines of Inez, KY, three brothers: Billy Ray Hammonds of Louisa, KY, Joe Hammonds of Inez, KY, and Charles Hammonds of Lexington, KY, one sister, Pauletta Barrett of SC and a special niece, Betty Pope. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Michael Dean (Jennifer) Haney, Desiree (Tate) Harmon, Christopher Raines, Keagan Haney, and McKenzie Haney, and four great grandchildren: Avree Harmon, Raymond Easton Harmon, Skylar Salisbury and Harrison Tate Harmon. Aneita was a member of the Sitka Freewill Baptist Church. A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 with Jim McKenzie and John Goble officiating. Burial will follow in the Haney Family Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
