Archie Stacy, age 76, of Debord, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 22, 1948, in Martin County, Kentucky, to the late Charlie and Florence Stacy. Archie was an avid coon hunter and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Alice Ann (Messer) Stacy; grandchildren—Corey Harper, Shawn Lawson, Audrey Parsons, and Bradley Wiseman, Gage Wiseman, Chase Wiseman, Alex Wiseman, and Brooke Stacy Wireman, and Lilly and Christopher Messer; great grandchildren—Holden Reed, Liam Ryan, Caida Harper, Cameron Harper, Caden Harper, Colten Harper; siblings—Doug Stacy of West Liberty, Jim Stacy of Louisa, and Nancy Stacy of Inez; stepdaughter Lori (TJ) Messer; special friend Hayes Jude; special brother-in-law Jimmy Dale Messer; a host of beloved nieces and nephew;, and many extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Stacy, son, William Archie (Junebug) Stacy; brothers Johnny Stacy, Robert Stacy, and Ben Stacy; and sisters Perlie Reed, Amy Jane Turner, Outa Stacy, and Mary Moore, and one great grandchild, Areum Wiseman. Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025, in the chapel of the Crum Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Stacy Cemetery at Debord. Glenn Moore and Freddie Messer, Jr. will officiate. Friends may visit the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Archie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, but especially by those who loved him dearest. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
