Avonell (Jude) Dotson Nichols

Avonell Jude Dotson Nichols, age 75, of Inez, KY, passed away February 1, 2024 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. She was born July 11, 1948 in Pilgrim, KY to the late Richard and Rosie Fletcher Jude. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Chester Dotson, her daughter, Dafany Dotson, and two brothers, James "Jimmy" Jude and Marvin Jude. She is survived by two sons, Kester Dotson, Jr. of Inez, KY and Brian Eric Dotson of Inez, KY, one daughter, Amy (Shawn) Fromsdorf of Okala, FL, two brothers, Ralph Jude and Sammy (Cindy) Jude, both of Williamson, WV, and one sister, Mary Fletcher of Inez, KY. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Serenity Fromsdorf, Justin Fromsdorf, Maddox Fromsdorf, and Pantara Fromsdorf. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Dale Riffe officiating. Burial will follow at the Moore Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
