Barbara Ellen (Jude) Sweeney

Barbara Ellen Sweeney, age 56, of Paintsville, KY, passed away December 9, 2019 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. She was born May 10, 1963 to the late Jeff Jude and Carma Fletcher Jude. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Delbert Sweeney, six sons; Delbert Adam (Crystal) Sweeney and Shawn (Kayla) Sweeney, both of Boons Camp, KY, T. J. (Sarah) Sweeney, Zack Jude, Riley Jude, and Tyler Jude, all of Thelma, KY, three brothers; Arthur Jude of Fort Gay, KY, Hayse Jude of Inez, KY and Wally Jude of Tomahawk, KY, and two sisters, Norma Jean Blevins of Lowmansville, KY and Shirley Ratcliff of Fort Gay, WV. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Roger Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Sweeney Family Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with burial cost. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
