Bertha (Sartin) Seberig

Bertha Sartin Seberig, 65 years old, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born March 7, 1953 at Pigeon Roost, KY. Bertha was a member of the Rockcastle United Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Gladys Hale Sartin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers; Ronnie Lee Sartin and Eugene Sartin and one sister, Janet Sartin Jarvis. She is survived by her loving husband Charles Seberig, one niece Myrtle Sartin (Kevin Alley) of Inez, KY, four nephews; Chauncey (Anna) Sartin of Georgetown, KY, Jason Jarvis of Ashland, KY, and Albert Dale Sartin and Dusty Sartin, both of Beauty, KY, and two great nephews; Ethan, Brent (Raven) Sartin. She is also survived by Brecki Hickman who was like a daughter to her. Bertha was especially fond of her special babies, Maddy Tilley and Nova Grace Sartin of Georgetown, KY and Sadie Blackburn and Breleigh Blackburn of Stone Coal, WV as well as many friends and neighbors. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 1 PM at the Big Elk United Baptist Church, Route 40, Inez, KY with Brent Haney officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinson-Osborne Cemetery, Buck Creek, KY. Pallbearers will be Kevin Alley, David Slone and son, Luke Hale, and Bart and Brayden Mckenzie. Friends may visit at the church on Friday after 6 PM and all day Saturday. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
