Bobby Gene Stepp

Bobby Gene Stepp, age 74, of Inez, KY, passed away on March 3, 2025, at his residence. He was born on April 1, 1951, to the late Robert Stepp and Garnet Bowen Stepp in Martin County, KY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Maynard Stepp, three brothers, Darrell Stepp, Ray Stepp, and Ovie Vanhoose, one sister, Joann Vanhoose. Bobby is survived by one son, Robert (Colleen) Stepp of Lexington, KY, and one daughter, Candi Stepp (Randy Quesenberry) of Inez, KY, three sisters, Jannetta (Richard Doc) Maynard of Inez, KY, Ernestine Luster and Lucy Britton both of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Bethany (J.T.) True of Frankfort, KY, Jacob Stepp of Inez, KY, and Isaiah (Angela) Stepp of Louisa, KY, four great grandchildren, William True, Cayde True, Kennedy Stepp and Presley Stepp and a host of nieces and nephews. Bobby loved to hunt and fish. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11 AM at the Vineyard United Baptist Church with Richard (Doc) Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard Family Cemetery in Inez, KY. Friends may visit the church on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
