Caleb Wade Mitchell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Caleb Wade Mitchell.

Caleb Wade Mitchell, age 23, of Inez, KY, passed away on September 21, 2025, in Lexington, KY. He was born on January 11, 2002, to Mike and Melanie (Howard) Mitchell in Lexington, KY. In addition to his parents, Caleb is survived by one brother, Zackary (Makayla Johnson) Mitchell of Teaberry, KY, one niece, Katrina Danielle Mitchell, and one nephew, Dierks Maverick Mitchell. Caleb was a graduate of University of KY from the School of Psychology, with plans to get his master’s in social work. He wanted to work with and council children with mental disorders. He was currently working with autistic children in Lexington, KY. He loved his job. Caleb will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 3 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Sammy Ray Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Stepp Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, September 22nd and Tuesday, September 23rd from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
