Carl David Stafford, Jr.

Carl David Stafford, Jr., age 41, of Tomahawk, KY, passed away August 5, 2023 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born January 5, 1982 in Floyd County, KY to Connie Jude Stafford and the late Carl David Stafford. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bradley Stafford, one aunt, Dolly Hamilton, two uncles, Sammy Stafford and Charles Stafford, paternal grandparents, Charles and Nancy Stafford, and maternal grandfather, Julius Bowen. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Nila Staton Stafford, four daughters, Carlee Dawn Stafford, Cambree Dae Stafford, Charlee D'Eloise Stafford, and Jayla Stafford, his maternal grandparents, Milton and Eloise McCoy, two brothers, Eli Stafford and Jakori Stafford, six sisters, Ashley Stafford, Courtney Stafford, Antoinette Stafford, Tiffany Stafford, Makaylee Stafford, and Madison Stafford, niece, Marleigh Stafford, nephews, Corbin and Kyler Cook  and Kenderson Preston, special niece, Peyton Sheppard, uncles and aunts, James and Tammy Jude, Billy and Bonnie Gilliam, Mike and Diana McCoy, Manuel and Rita Stafford, Kenneth Stafford and Melissa Stafford, brother and sister-in-law, Shala and Cameron Preston and brother-in-law, Zach Vanover. He is also survived by a host of cousins that he loved dearly. Dave was employed with Jerry Delong at Thermal Shield for 20 years. He loved to fish, hunt, and ride his four-wheeler but spent most of his time with his children. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Nathan Harless officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Valley Memorial Garden. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
