Carlos Sweeney, Jr.

Carlos Sweeney, Jr., age 67, of Beauty, KY, passed away March 3, 2023 at Martin County Nursing Facility. He was born January 30, 1956 in Martin County, Kentucky to the late Carlos Sweeney and Nancy Maynard Sweeney. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy McCoy Sweeney, and four brothers, Granville Sweeney, Dallas Sweeney, Mason Sweeney, and Ronnie Sweeney. He is survived by one son, Carlos Michael (Dacia) Sweeney of Inez, KY, two daughters, Nancy Michelle (Bobby) Evans of Inez, KY and Evelyn Nicole Brady of Ontario, OH, two brothers, Randall Sweeney of Beauty, KY and Keith Sweeney of Inez, KY, and three sisters, Anna Hickman of Columbus, OH, Rose Jude of Beauty, KY, and Connie Murphy of Huntington, WV. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Zachary Tyler (Summer), Kiristan Michaela (Chad), Alexandria Brooke (Ty), Caleb, Cami, Mikaela, Adrianna, and Emily, and four great-grandchildren, Carson, Wrenleigh, Waylon, and Miles. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with John Goble officiating. Burial will follow at the Sweeney Family Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
