Carol Sue Maynard

Carol Sue (Hinkle) Maynard, age 63, of Beauty, KY, passed away on October 7, 2024, at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. She was born on June 22, 1961, to the late Hiram and Gracie (Blackburn) Hinkle in South Williamson, KY. Carol was a hardworking, fun-loving person with a heart of gold who loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hiram Hinkle, Jr. and Estil Hinkle, and two sisters, Dorothy (Edgar) Pack and Marie Jane Hinkle. Carol is survived by her husband, Darrell Maynard of Beauty, KY, two brothers, James (Lana) Hinkle of Sugar Hill, GA and Roger (Tillie) Hinkle of Inez, KY, six sisters, Kimberly (Jason) Warner of Lebanon, OH, Tennessee (Bobby Fannin) Hampton of Crossville, TN, Ethel (Luther) Fletcher of Inez, KY, Joyce (Steve) Castle of Lowmansville, KY, Judy Thacker of Mount Sterling, KY, and Brenda Kay (Terry) Collins of Kettering, OH. Carol is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 2PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Luther Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Warfield Cemetery in Warfield, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 6PM to 9PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
