Carol (Delong) Setser

Carol (Delong) Setser resided in Fairborn Ohio and passed away April 22, 2025, surrounded by friends and family. She was born in Inez, Kentucky, February 1,1940. She brought warmth, humor and kindness wherever she went. She and her beloved husband of 64 years, Chester, built a beautiful life together. They raised two sons, Rick (Jennifer) of Springfield Ohio and Tim (Tracy) of Fairborn Ohio, as well as 4 grandsons, Jeremiah (Casey), Jon (Tina), Richard and Kacey.  She was a proud great grandmother to Miah, Mahala, Savannah, Trevor, JoJo and Seth. Her love for her family was unconditional and unwavering- a steady presence and a listening ear for all who needed her. She was proceeded in death by her husband Chester Setser, her parents, 5 sisters and 5 brothers.

She was known for her sweet voice as she loved to sing with the band alongside her husband, son, and friends. She had a knack for storytelling. Carol could light up a room with a funny memory, she had a way of making people feel at home and was a friend to everyone who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9th, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home.
