Cecil Edward Parsons

Cecil Edward Parsons "Ed", age 52, of Jeffersonville, KY left this earth to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. 

Born, June 13, 1968 in Columbus, OH. Ed was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt, 4-wheel, fish and spend time at the race track with his Chevy truck. 

Ed was a member of the Elizabeth United Baptist Church in Martin County, KY, where he grew up. He also attended services throughout Montgomery County, KY. Ed was employed by Komatsu/SRC of Lexington as a Diesel Mechanic for 25 years, where he had many friends. 

Ed is survived by his parents, Cecil and Thelma Parsons of Pilgrim, KY; two sisters, Pearl (Kevin) Buehner of Nicholasville, KY, Jennifer (Randy) Simpkins of Oil Springs, KY; four nephews, Logan Simpkins, Cameron, Bryce, and Blake Buehner; girlfriend, Stacey Eldridge of Lexington, KY; special friends, Mike and Hazel Tufano of Jeffersonville, KY; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Visitation will be held at Crum Funeral Home, Inez, KY on Friday, April 16, 2021 with family visiting from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with special services at 7 PM and also on Saturday from 10 AM until time of services. The funeral will also be held at Crum Funeral Home on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 1:00 PM. A graveside burial will take place at the Fletcher-Jude Cemetery, Pilgrim, KY immediately following the funeral. At the request of the family and in accordance to the state mandate, masks must be worn at all times.  

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Elizabeth United Baptist Church of Wolf Creek, KY or to the United Healthcare Children's Foundation online at www.uhccf.org/donate-form, in his honor.
