Charles Moore

Charlie Moore, age 58, of Debord, KY passed away September 10, 2021 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. He was born August 3, 1963 in Debord, KY to the late Edgar and Louise Crum Moore. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Deborah Jarrett. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Kiefer Moore, his children; Elizabeth and Tracy Maynard, Michelle and Joe Thompson, Mary Moore, Samantha Moore-Mollett and Jeremy Mollett, and Alex and Brittany Bowen, his brothers; Dennis (Jean) Moore of Warfield, KY, Harold Moore of Debord, KY, Mike (Shirley) Moore of Tomahawk, KY and Bryan Moore of Debord, KY, his sisters; Gretta Moore of Warfield, KY and Tonya Moore of Debord, KY, and one brother-in-law, James Jarrett. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Cheyenne Patrick, Billy Strickland, Blake Patrick, Summer Strickland, Zoey Mollett, Jessica (Jessie) Moore, Jeremey (JJ) Mollet, Alexis Bowen, Isabella Moore, Brayden Maynard, Charlie Mollett, Waylon Moore, Bryar Maynard, and Barrett Maynard. Charlie worked as a mechanic for more than 40 years and he loved serving the people of Martin County. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 beginning at 1:00 PM at the Moore Family Cemetery on Debord. Family may visit at the Moore Family Residence on Saturday beginning at 3 PM and friends may visit at the residence on Sunday from 5 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the purchase of his headstone. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
