Charles Cecil Spence, age 66 of Tomahawk, KY, passed away March 21, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 20, 1954 in Paintsville, KY to the late Ernest and Frona (Maynard) Spence. Charles was a retired disabled coal miner of Pontiki Coal. He is preceded in death by his first wife Polly Jane (Smith), his brothers Ernest (Ernie) Spence Jr., William Arthur Spence, sisters Sadie Bernice (Spence) Boyd and Christine (Spence) Srathers. Charles is survived by his loving wife Robin (Sparks) Spence, daughters Michelle Renee (David) Ross, Reanna Danielle (Joe) Cline and sons Aaron Mathew (Sarah) Spence and Charles Andrew (Kayley) Spence. He is also survived by one brother Russell (Sue) Spence and nine grandchildren, Grady (Krystyl) Dalton, Nathan (Elexis) Dalton, Jordan Andrew Spence, Braxton Spence, Madisyn Spence, Candenna (Robert) Whitt, Joseph Martin Cline, Charles Lewis Cline, Isiah Jackson Cline, and four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom loved him very much. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM at his residence. Burial will follow at the Sparks Cemetery in Inez. Friends may visit at the home beginning at 11 AM on Wednesday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral cost. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
