Chester "Pudd-Eye" Hunley McCoy

Chester Hunley McCoy, also known as Pudd-Eye, 71, of Inez, KY passed away July 24, 2019 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. He was born April 2, 1948 in Martin County to the late Harp and Dorothy Mae Jude McCoy. Pudd-Eye worked as a Strip Miner and Logger most of his life until becoming disabled. He then worked odd jobs mowing grass to pass the time until he had a very bad stroke in 2016. He then became a resident of the Martin County Healthcare Facility where he remained until his death. Pudd-Eye leaves behind one very special cousin whom he thought of as a sister, Pearlie Robinson and her husband, Larry. He also leaves behind many friends and family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 1 PM at the Leannah Old Regular Baptist Church with Mitchell Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson Scott Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 6 PM to 9 PM and at the church on Friday until time of services on Saturday. Church services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 starting at 7 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
