Christopher Ray Newsome

Christopher Ray Newsome, age 28, passed away January 18, 2021 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, KY. He was born September 10, 1992 in Paintsville, KY to Jimmy Ray and Angelina McLaughlin Newsome. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jim Newsome. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Margie Newsome, his maternal grandfather, Jimmie Meadows, his maternal grandmother, Janet Webb Meade, one brother, Brandon Ray Newsome of Debord, KY, one sister, Ashley Tiller of Debord, KY, and one daughter, Nevaeh Ray Newsome of Debord, KY. He is also survived by three nephews, Shane Carter, Braxton Carter, and Kylin Newsome, one niece, Sabrina Tiller, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Per the request of the family, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
