Claude Mitchell Mills

Claude Mitchell Mills, age 55, of Prestonsburg, KY, passed away on March 18, 2025, at Hazard ARH in Hazard, KY. He was born on August 18, 1969, to the late Claude Russell and Kathleen (Maynard) Mills in Columbus, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Luke and Ida Mae (Moore) Mills, maternal grandparents, James and Dorothy (McCoy) Maynard, and one sister, Debbie Mills. Claude is survived by one stepdaughter, Kayla Maynard, one brother, Johnny (Christie) Mills of Inez, KY, two sisters, Tammy (David) Jude of River, KY, and Chasity (Billy) Butcher of Johnson County, KY, and a long-time special friend, Lois Harris. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Madilyn, Logan, and Brionna, and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Jessie Spaulding officiating. Burial will follow in the Mills Family Cemetery in Inez, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
