Clayton Jarrell Speakman

Clayton Jarrell Speakman, age 40 of Inez, KY, passed away February 13, 2026, at UK Hospital in Lexington, KY, surrounded by his family and friends. Clayton was born November 19, 1985, to Sandy Mills and the late Timothy Speakman. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Tammy Speakman, who passed away six months ago, and his oldest son who he missed dearly, Phillip Michael Speakman. He is also preceded by his mother-in-law, Hazel Diana Bowen, his maternal grandparents, William and Lynda Mollett, his paternal grandparents, Ronnie Speakman and Jarrell Marcum, his brother-in-law, Michael Bown, his sister-in-law, Courtney Jude, his special friend, Brenda Spence, and his special friends who were more like his brothers, Shawn Spence and Derek Mollett. Clayton leaves behind his three children, Christopher Blake Speakman (Angel Waller), Hazalena Marie Speakman, and Dashia Makay Speakman, and four children he raised as his own, Robert White, Buck Bowen, Nebert Bowen, and Jameson Harmon. He is also survived by his mother, Sandy Mills, step father, Michael Mills, grandmother, Maxine Marcum, father in law, Curtis Bowen, two brothers, Granville (Charlet) Mollett and Timothy (Laura) Speakman, two sisters, Ashley Knipp and Angela Howard, sisters in law, Tiffany (Greg) Preece, Danielle (Kevin) Fletcher, and Niki Bowen, and brothers in law, Curtis Ray Bowen (Kesihan), Mason Funk (Tori) and Jason (Kathy) Hall. Clayton also leaves behind one grandson who was his pride and joy, Brentley Jay Waller Speakman, special friends Kandi Waller, Robin Spence, Sherretta Spence, Ronnie, and Deloris Cisco, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and so many other family and friends who he loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 2 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Ray Staton, James Maynard, and Rodney Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Mollette Family Cemetery in Tomahawk, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, February 16th and Tuesday, February 17th from 5 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
