Obituary
Cletis "Bo" Blackburn, age 80, of Prestonsburg, KY, formerly of Inez, KY, passed away May 26, 2023 at the Veterans Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born June 6, 1942 in Peter Cave, KY to the late Jobe and Trixie Cains Blackburn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Whitt Blackburn, one brother, John Blackburn, and four sisters, Mae Hickman, Margie Jude, Bertha Duncan, and Eunice Robinson. He is survived by two sons, Steven (Rachel Shane) Blackburn and Jeffery (Jeremy Salyers) Blackburn, and one sister, Thelma Moore. Bo was a member of the US Army and served his country in Vietnam. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Tom Dials officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association in his memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
