Debra Ann Collier, lover of her friends, family members, and animals, passed away in Florida on March 6, 2020. Deb was born in Beauty, Kentucky to the late Roy F. Collier and Audrey F. Mills Collier. She was one of 5 children. She is proceeded in death by her brother, Roy Collier, Jr. (Dooner), and her sister, Pamela Collier Cain. She is survived by her brothers, Joe Collier (Nita) of Inez, KY and Scott Collier of Catlettsburg, KY; stepmother, Patricia Smith of Catlettsburg, KY; and goddaughter, Leah Sharee Hopkins and god grandson, Malakhi James Hagy of Lexington, KY. Deb is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly.
Deb Collier was one of a kind. If she loved you, she was ready to fight for you. If she did not love you, there was always an opportunity for you to gain her love. She leaves a legacy of kindness, unselfishness, and love.
Deb was a proud member of the Floyd County Rescue Squad where she graciously served for over 25 years.
There will be a memorial in honor of Deb on July 18, 2020 at the Floyd County Rescue Facility with visitation beginning at 12 PM and a service at 1 PM. Close friends and family are invited to attend. It is asked that all those in attendance please wear a mask.
