Debra K Hackney

Debra Hackney, age 60 of Kermit, WV, passed away June 21, 2023 at Highlands Appalachian Regional Medical Center. She was born July 12, 1962 in Freeburn, KY to the late Edgar and Ida Hackney. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her niece, Sharon Yaunk, three brothers, Roger Hackney, James Hackney, and Truman Hackney, and three sisters, Brenda Mounts, Ruby Fitch, and Patricia Blackburn. She is survived by her daughter, Reana Pinson of Kermit, WV, one brother, Harvey Hackney, one grandchild, Ra'Mello Warren, a host of nieces and nephews and a special best friend, Donna Jude. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 1 PM at the Gospel Light Church with Ronnie Pinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Damron Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Friday from 7 PM to 10 PM and on Saturday from 12 PM to 10 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
