Dennie Howell

Dennie Howell, age 83, of Pilgrim, KY, passed away May 9, 2020 at his residence. He was born January 16, 1937 to the late Tan Howell and Ora Reed Howell in Three Forks, KY. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Carmel Howell, Arnold Howell, Robert Howell, and Buddy Howell, and two sisters, May Jude,  Mary Staton. He is survived by his wife, Edna Maynard Howell, two sons, Donnie (Paula) Howell of Inez, KY, and Michael (Susie) Howell of Chapmanville, WV, one daughter, Carolyn (Dewey) Delong of Pilgrim, KY, one brother, Dennis (Pauline) Howell of Columbus, OH and one  sister, Dorothy (Anthony) Wilson. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Steven (Natasha) Howell of Inez, KY, Ethan (Ashley) Delong of Prestonsburg, KY, and Olivia Howell and Michaela Howell, both of Chapmanville, WV, two great grandchildren, Harper and Jace Howell, and his dearest friends, Joe McGinnis and Eddie Howell. There will be a private graveside service with Terry Harmon officiating at the Howell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
