Dolores Vian (Thompson) Goble

Dolores Vian (Thompson) Goble, age 80, of Debord, KY, passed away on February 15, 2025, at Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg, KY. She was born on October 30, 1944, to the late Hercel and Nora (Estep) Thompson in Louisa, KY. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Rabon Goble, one son, Randy Goble, four brothers, Charles Thompson, Lonzo Thompson, Bob Thompson, and Mack Thompson, and three sisters, Betty Wellmen, Ruth Ross, and Phyllis Thompson. She is survived by one son, Christopher (Carol) Goble of Florida, one daughter, Kimberly (Dale) Smith of Debord, KY, one sister, Patty Gussler of Columbus, OH, eight grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Phillip Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in the Goble Cemetery in Debord, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Per Dolores's request, she would prefer lanterns, candles and cardinals in place of flowers. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
