Obituary
Donald E. Allen, age 63, of Inez, KY, passed away September 7, 2023 at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. He was born June 28, 1960 in Williamson, WV to the late Ben Allen, Sr. and Effie Elizabeth Litton Allen. In addition to his parents, Donnie is preceded in death by four brothers, Ben Allen, Jr., Danny Joe Allen, Gary Lee Allen, and Archie Ray Allen. He is survived by his wife, Paula Maher Allen, one daughter, Cassandra Allen of Lowmansville, KY, one son, James Benjamin Allen of Inez, three brothers, Roy (Sue Mills) Allen of Wittensville, KY, Tommy Dale (Kathy) Allen of Ulysses, KY, and Randy (Kim) Allen of Inez, KY, and three sisters, Betty Elizabeth Jaramillo of Lexington, KY, Charlotta Allen of Louisa, KY, and Darlene Allen (Ray) Lowe of Ashland, KY. He is also survived by one grandchild, Blake Fletcher. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 12 PM to 2 PM. Following visitation, there will be a graveside service at the Allen Cemetery at 2:30 PM with James Maynard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
