Donnis Lynn Mills

Donnis Lynn Mills, age 65, of Inez, KY, passed away on September 14, 2024, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born on March 30, 1959, to the late Henry Mills and Evelyn (Preece) Mills in Louisa, KY. In addition to his parents, Donnis was preceded in death by Ethel Jenny Mills. He is survived by Connis Mills and his daughters; Jennifer Lynn (Christopher) of Inez, KY and Emily Mills of Prestonsburg KY, his brothers; Terry (Lola) Mills of Tomahawk KY, and Jerry Ray (Wendy) Mills of Inez, one sister, Wanda Lou (Mark) Castle of Salyersville KY and his grandchildren; Chloe West, Samuel Mills, Dakota West, and Ben Cole.

Donnis is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Josh (Kasey) Mills, Renee (Luke) Brown, Courtney (Ethan) Smith, Tyler (Catie) Mills and by his great nieces and nephews; Matthew Mills, Kenneth Mills, Skylar Mills, Layla Mills, Leland Mills, Grayson Mills, Cayden Mills, Henry Smith, Taylor Castle, Parker Castle, and Madison Issac.

Donnis was an avid horse rider and Volkswagen collector as well as a dedicated coal miner. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 17, 2024, at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Tommy Meade of Richardsons Chapel officiating. Burial will follow at the Mills Family Cemetery in Rockhouse. Friends and family may visit the funeral home from 6-9 Monday September 16th. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
