Dwight David Varney

Dwight David Varney, age 65, of Louisa, KY passed away August 7, 2022 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1957 in Columbus, OH to the late Samuel M. Varney and Ivory "Tommy" Varney. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by three brother, Sammy Varney, Tommy Varney, and Linville Varney, and one sister, Linda Gail Varney. Dwight (David) is survived by his son, Michael (Brandy) Varney and their kids, Destiny, Breeanna, Joann, Jaceson, Elanena, and Willow, his son, Larry Dillon and his kids, Quintin and Annie, his daughter, Melinda (Josh) Lea, his ex-wife, Karen Ball, and his sister, Julie (Danny) Bowens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as so many more loved ones. David was a man that touched many hears and never knew a single stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who ever met him and he will be met at the gate by so many loved ones that have went before him including his grandson, Garrett Varney. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 1 PM at the Calf Creek United Baptist Church with Maurice Mills and John Goble officiating. Burial will follow at the Fluty Lick Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church from 6 PM to 9 PM on Sunday evening. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
