Easter (Stacy) Staton

Easter Staton, age 69, of Tomahawk, KY, passed away September 14, 2021 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. She was born November 11, 1951 in Louisa, KY to the late Cecil Stacy and Vina Jude Stacy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Jessie James Maynard, her second husband, Garfield Fitch, one daughter, VIna Rebecca Maynard, two brothers, Lacy Stacy and David Stacy, one sister, Mary Stacy, one son-in-law, Dewey Michael Jude, and one grandson, Cecil Maynard. She is survived by her husband, Amos Staton, four sons, Cecil Edward (Melissa) Maynard of Pilgrim, KY, George Robert Maynard of Tomahawk, KY, Jessie Daniel (Dorothy) Maynard of Warfield, KY, and Lacy James (Reane) Maynard of Tomahawk, KY, two daughters, Bertha Louise (TD) Collins of Tomahawk, KY and Tammy Lynn (Buddy) Stacy of Pilgrim, KY, six brothers, George Robert Stacy of River, KY and Jeff Stacy of Tomahawk, KY, James Harrison Stacy of Paintsville, KY, John Stacy of Paintsville, KY, Danny Stacy of Sitka, KY, and Billy Stacy of Inez, KY, and two sisters, Lilly Reed of Hode, KY and Bobbie McCoy of Lawrence County, KY. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Terry James Collins, Elijah Dean Collins, Jessie Daniel Lee Maynard, Katelynn Marie Elizabeth Maynard, Dewey James Maynard, Blake Maynard, Kelli Maynard, Jessie Jude, Ashley McKayla Mollette, Cody Maynard, Peyton Maynard, Avery Staton, Harper Staton, Amos Staton, Jr., Tommy Staton and Chrissy Staton as well as four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2 PM at the Buck Branch United Baptist Church with Doc Maynard, Dave Bowen, Lonnie Ratliff and David Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard Stacy Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday and Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM with special services each night. At the request of the family, masks must be worn by all in attendance. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donation be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
