Elias Fletcher

Elias Fletcher, age 91, of Lovely, KY passed away April 21, 2023 at his residence. He was born March 12, 1932 in Martin County, KY to the late Robert and Susie Blackburn Fletcher. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Maynard Fletcher, four brothers, Virgil Fletcher, Willis Fletcher, Johnny Fletcher and Tommy Fletcher, four sisters, Pauline Preece, Alice Delong, Polly Copley, and Edith Jude, one grandson, Adam Jude, and one great granddaughter, Elisha Fletcher. He is survived by six sons, Glen Ray (Darlene) Fletcher of Louisa, KY, Gary (Betty) Fletcher of Inez, KY, Lewis (Edna) Fletcher of Louisa, KY, Randy (Stephanie) Fletcher of Louisa, KY, Raymond (Sharon) Fletcher of Pilgrim, KY, and Billy Joe (Susan) Fletcher of Paintsville, KY, five daughters, Joyce (Haskel) Stacy of Inez, KY, Shelvie (Roger) Pruitt of Lowmansville, KY, Irene (Thurman) Jude of Lovely, KY, Sandy (Dwayne) Collins of Inez, KY, Lois Faye (Rick) Slone of Lovely, KY, and two brothers, Robert (Cat) Fletcher and James Fletcher, both of Lovely, KY. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 1 PM at the Buck Branch United Baptist Church with Buddy Stacy and David Stacy officiating. Burial will follow at the Jude Fletcher Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church beginning Saturday at 5 PM until the time of services on Monday. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
