Eloise (Carter) Maynard

Eloise Maynard, age 77, of Inez, KY, passed away June 27, 2020 at her residence. She was born July 24, 1942 to the late Rufus Carter and Aline Pack Carter in Martin County, KY. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Maynard, two sons, James Sidney Maynard and Randy Maynard, four brothers, Sturgill Carter, Alfred “AJ” Carter, Arie “JR” Carter, and Johnny Carter, three sisters, Ruby Carter, Blanch Blackburn and Peggy Sluss, and one grandson. She is survived by two sons, Greg Maynard of Inez, KY and Glen Maynard of Linn Creek, Missouri, four daughters, Sharon (Donnie) Hatfield is Lenore, WV, Sherlayn Carter of Prestonsburg, KY, Ruby Greenway of Nixa, Missouri, and Victoria Maynard of Inez, KY, two brothers, Oscar Carter of Inez, KY and Frank Carter of Louisa, KY, and two sisters, Cressy Jude and Elsie Maynard, both of Inez, KY. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on  Monday, June 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with burial following. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 10 AM until the time of service. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
