Ernest Dean Scott

Ernest Dean Scott, age 59, of Lovely, KY, passed away March 30, 2023 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born January 18, 1964 in Martin County, KY to the late T. Scott and Garnet Collins Scott. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Scott. He is survived by his wife, Carlena Harris Scott, two sons, Andy Dewayne (Margaret) Scott of Lovely, KY and William (Kelli Jo Kirk-Blair) Scott of Inez, KY, one brother, Lacy Scott of Lovely, KY, and one sister, Helen Moore of Louisa, KY. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Dallas Dewayne Scott, Destiny Marie Scott, Davina Rose (Rosebud) Scott, Jett Blair, Ravyn Scott, and Cage Scott. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1 PM at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church with Earl White officiating. Burial will follow at the Scott Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Thursday beginning at 11 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
