Evelyn "Mamaw" (Mills) Crum

Evelyn "Mamaw" Crum, age 85, of Inez, KY, went to her heavenly home on September 7, 2020 at Three Rivers Medical Center. She was born October 27, 1934 in Tomahawk, KY to the late Forrest and Fannie Pack Mills. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Quentin Crum, her grand mommy that raised her, Lillie Mills, one brother, Don Mills, one sister, Ina Blackerby, one grandchild, Phillip McCoy, and a special aunt, Lesta Ward. She is survived by one son, Quentin Mike (Renea) Crum of Debord, KY, three daughters, Deborah (Donnie) Watkins of Inez, KY, Mary Ellen (Ron) McCoy of Pikeville, KY, and Rose Marie Crum, also of Inez. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Michael Dwayne (Sonia), David Allen (Angie), and Kevin Wesley (Chasity) Crum, Heather (Rock) Daniels, Sabrina (Chuck) Murphy, Kennedy Greer, Kortney (Joe) Howell, Kyle (Amanda) Greer, and special grand daughter, Marlena (Victor) Slone, and fifteen great grandchildren, Bethany Elise (Aaron) Tackett, Evan Michael Crum, Dawson Tate Crum, Peyton Wesley Crum, Isabella Grace Crum, Madi McCoy, Wade Murphy, Bennett Daniels, Grayson Daniels, Jimma Greer, Gatlin Greer, Easton McCarty, Layne McCarty, and special grandsons, Jarrod (Taylor) Slone and Cody (Micah) Slone, one brother in law, James Crum, one sister in law, Francis Crum, and one nephew, Tom Blackerby. Mamaw was a member of the Paintsville First Church of the Nazarene and loved the Lord and her family and friends fiercely. Her smile would light up a room and her heart swelled with pride when she spoke of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her Thursday nights at the Dance Ranch and loved her huge Sunday family gatherings. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Roy Penix and Jim Doug Muncy officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Garden. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
