Gabe Dewey Lowe

Gabe Dewey Lowe, age 78 of Inez, KY (formerly of Pilgrim, KY) went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2023 at his residence. He was born on October 13, 1944 to the late Milford and Gertie (Jones) Lowe in Pilgrim, KY. Gabe was ordained as a minister in 1982 and served as the moderator of the Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Gabe is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Irene (McCoy) Lowe, two brothers, Hayes and Ed Lowe and three sisters, Garnet Maynard, Larna Nichols, and Eunice Jean Delong. He is survived by his step-mother, Doris Lowe, and two sons, Mark (Sharon) Lowe of Inez, KY and Randall (Sue) Lowe of Pikeville, KY. Gabe is also survived by two grandchildren, Lisa Risner (Zac) and Vinnie Lowe, three great grandchildren, Myriah Risner, Lucca Risner, and Miquella Risner and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 1 PM at the Sidney Old Regular Baptist Church with Tom Dials, Albert Cable and Sam Frye officiating. Burial will follow at the Muncy Cemetery. Friends may visit Crum Funeral Home on Monday and Tuesday evening from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
