Gary Mitchell

Gary Dean Mitchell, age 72, of Inez, KY, passed away August 5, 2024 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. He was born April 18, 1952 in Floyd County, KY to the late Ernest Dean and Margeline Lambert Mitchell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Joan Slone. He is survived by his wife, Lena Stepp Mitchell, one son, Michael Dean (Melanie) Mitchell of Inez, KY, two brothers, Larry (Debbie) Mitchell and Tim (Jacki) Mitchell, both of Floyd County, KY, and two sisters, Janice Hall and Rita (Ben) Sellards, both of Floyd County, KY. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Zackary Tyler (Makayla) Mitchell and Caleb Wade Mitchell, and one great grandchild, Katrina Danielle Mitchell. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Sammie Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at the Stepp Cemetery on Poplar Fork. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
